One EQ band has changed the sound. With a single band of your own, put it back: find the frequency, then set the gain that cancels it. It trains the whole EQ move at once, where and how much.
How it works
- Press Play and flip between Original and Changed.
- Drag your band to the frequency and set its gain (the width is fixed).
- Listen to your fix against the original, then check.
How it’s scored
How flat the changed sound and your band come out together, from 100 for a perfect undo to 0 for no better than leaving it. Pass with a 70 average over five challenges.
Levels
Six levels: undo a 12 dB boost, then a smaller one, on a drum kit, undo a cut, a boost or a cut in a full mix, and Subtle Surgery, 6 dB moves in the mix. Levels 1 and 2 are free. Levels 3 and up are part of Mix Chops Pro, and every level is open while Mix Chops is in early access.
