## Undo the EQ *by ear.*

One EQ band has changed the sound. With a single band of your own, put it back: find the frequency, then set the gain that cancels it. It trains the whole EQ move at once, where and how much.

### How it works

1. Press Play and flip between Bypass and Problem.
2. Drag your band to the frequency and set its gain (the width is fixed).
3. Listen to Your EQ against Bypass, then check.

### How it’s scored

How flat the changed sound and your band come out together, from 100 for a perfect undo to 0 for no better than leaving it. Pass with a 70 average over five challenges.

### Levels

Six levels: undo a 12 dB boost, then on a drum kit, then a smaller 6 dB move on the kit, reaching down to 80 Hz, undo a cut, a boost or a cut in a full mix, and Subtle Surgery, 6 dB moves in the mix. Levels 1 and 2 are free. Levels 3 and up are part of [Mix Chops Pro](https://mixchops.com/pro), and every level is open while Mix Chops is in early access.
